Local Places of Interest

Brookside Guest House Bed & Breakfast is only a short walk away from Brixham Heritage Museum and Brixham Marina.

Brixham is famous for its fresh fish and close to Brookside Guest House are a number of fish restaurants and eateries.

A wonderful way to explore Torbay is through a number of ferries, sailing from Brixham harbour to Torquay and Dartmouth. Alternatively, Dartmouth and also England's oldest town Totnes, are a short bus or car ride away and both Paignton & Torquay are within easy commuting distance.

If you enjoy walking and nature, Dartmoor Country Park can be accessed by coach or car and Paignton Zoo is on the main Paignton to Brixham road. Add to this the theatres, live music venues & the cinemas, they all make Brookside Guest House the ideal starting point to discover Brixham, Torbay & South Devon.

Most of the above and many other local attractions are accessible via the Number 12 Hop-on/Hop-off bus which stops 25 metres either side of Brookside Guest House.

And don't forget to take the walk up to Berry Head Nature Reserve - breathtaking views !
